Hector will be 3 in September. He's a Russian Tortoise. We've had him since he was 3 months old.
He's started falling asleep with his neck fully extended with his head on the substrate. Is this normal?
Some sources we've seen tell us he's a very happy, contented tortoise. But, I want to check with the experts I trust.
Thank you for your help. My photo was too large to attach. I can email a photo if needed.

Hi Hectors family.
It is as they say and Hector is feeling very relaxed and happy in the enviroment you are offering to him. It takes a while to gain our trust but this is one way they do show it.
All perfectly normal.
