REHOMED - Tank & Bowser. Hermanns

Post by lin » 15 Feb 2024, 17:54

Tank and Bowser are Hermann tortoises that at 3 years are too young to sex and they are looking for a forever home because of a health situation and house move, the owner is looking for someone to take over their care from Warwick CV35. After a dodgy start Tank and Bowser started the early days in a vivarium under the pet shops advice but after heavily researching the owner soon found that a change to a table top enclosure is a must and binned the pellets the shop owner advised, changing them to a decent wild diet that they both now eat and enjoy and they both love spending the warmer months outside in a safe area and up until this winter they have spent night time, at the moment they are brought indoors when the cooler months arrive.
Neither Bowser or Tank have hibernated / brumated up until now because of their age but it could be a thing for whoever takes them on to decide.
They love each others company and have shown no aggression towards each other but the owner does realise if you take the two then problems may arise in the future if they are both males and again one would have to be rehomed if not already with a group of ladies.
Please feel free to contact the owner stating ‘Rehome (names)’ as the subject to. —————————— (copy & paste address or re type) stating what you have to offer and a photo or two would be nice.
If you don’t hear anything in a day or two resend and let me know on here.
Remember that species cannot be mixed and quarantine period should be followed.
Good luck to you all and keep me posted.

Ahh, if they were a little bit older they would've been perfect :\
