REHOMED - Koopa. - Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes

It is with great sadness that Koopa’s owners are looking for a loving home for him., Koopa is a male Horsfield, 8 years old from Stony Stratford in Milton Keynes and he has an adventurous personality. He is small but healthy and has had no previous health problems. He eats a high fibre diet, wholly weed based - Dandelion and Narrowleaf Plantain are his favourites. Koopa lives in an outdoor enclosure in our garden. He has an indoor shed with UV light, heat lamp and heater with an access hatch to an outdoor enclosure when he wants. During Winter, he hibernates in a fridge for 12 weeks, something that we have successfully built up over the last 4 years. He weighs 350g and his plastron measures 10 x 8.5cm. He is used to being handled for a bath twice a week. Koopa would make an ideal pet for anyone who is interested in becoming a tortoise owner or already is one.

Delivery might be available if the right home can be found and depending on distance.
Remember that species cannot be mixed and quarantine period should be followed.
