REHOME. Pebbles & Trouble. Staffordshire Moorlands area of the Peak National Park

Post by lin » 29 Jul 2023, 16:50

Pebbles (smallest approx 12 years old) and Trouble (largest, approx 10 years old) are both male Hermann tortoises based at Staffordshire Moorlands area of the Peak National Park. and are being looked after by a kindly neighbour because of the owner’s ill health. This arrangement was only temporary until a new home could be found and now, sadly the owner has passed and we need to find them their long term home.
This pair have always been together but because they are males they would need to be rehomed separately or if both together then space would be needed to separate if they should start fighting.
They both eat and enjoy a healthy wild diet, are quite lively and comical and therefore entertaining to watch and can come with a small tortoise table, plus UV heat lamp etc if needed.
If you feel you can offer these amazing tortoises a home you can contact the owner here stating Rehoming (and the name of the tortoise/s) as the subject to jules11a@sky.com (copy & paste address) stating what you have to offer and a photo or two would be nice.
Remember that species cannot be mixed and quarantine period should be followed.
Good luck to you all and please keep me posted.

The Tortoise Table do not allow any money to change hands during the rehoming process.
