Charlie is a 15 year old male Hermann tortoise from Loughborough, Leicestershire, who is in need of a new home. Due to a change in circumstances and a heartbreaking decision Charlie is looking for that very special place where he can be loved and cared for. During the summer he loves to lives outside in his secure area and spends winter indoors in the warm where he is happy. Charlie does hibernate and wakes up full of the joys of spring so he would love to be with a group of ladies or a lone tortoise because that is what he is used too. Charlie loves his food and does have some of the naughty things but would easily be weaned off of those.
If there is anyone could take over Charlie’s care and offer him a loving home and secure garden enclosure then please do contact the owner charliethetort@gmail.com using ‘Rehoming Charlie’ as the subject and let them know what you can offer with some photos of your enclosures and what you intent to offer Charlie.
Remember that species cannot be mixed and quarantine period should be followed.
