Rain or Filtered Water

Hi we have a 4 stage water filter attached to our drinking water. I was wondering what is the best source for our tortoises. Rain Water or the filtered water ?

I'm afraid I know nothing about water filters, but I've just looked up 4 stage filters, and I guess it would be very good if it filtered out lead, etc. from the water (don't know if there are beneficial things that it would filter out too though). Rain water should be perfectly fine, and I think you filtered water would be fine too. I'm afraid I'm very naughty and just use tap water -- which probably isn't ideal. Hopefully someone else will come on with some more information.

Hi Phil. I confess too, to only using rain and tap water.

yes they get rid of heavy metals, Bactria, chlorine, chloromine, dirt inc rust and quite a bit more
