Big thank you

Use this forum for identification of plants and flowers found in the UK. To allow us to help provide accurate identification we need clear pictures of the whole plant, where it is growing and close up pictures of flowers, buds or seed heads if any available. It would also be useful to see pictures showing the leaf attached to the stem.

Big thank you

Post by Andy » 29 Jun 2018, 06:37

Good morning all, I am a new tortoise keeper and I have had a lengthy phone call and a number of emails with Nina.
I would like to thank Nina for all her helpful advice. I now doubt that I will be asking many more questions on the website,
it is nice to know that thee are people out there that I can have a chat with and aske your advice
[ I thought I hade some one from the lower end of the country who would give me some advice of which he did until he had realised that I had bought a tortoise closer to home due to the fact that he was a few hundred mile away all contact ended and he would not reply to my email and calls] so one again thank you to Nina and the tortoise table and all the members.

Regards
Andy [me] and Madge [the tortoise]

Aww, Andy.
That is so nice of you to say that. You are always welcome to ask whatever you like about Madge, her diets, or any problems you think you may have, and if need be a call is only a second away, so never hesitate to ask.
Thank you again for your kind words and I am sure Nina will be on when she see's this.

That is so kind of you to post this message, Andy -- it really makes all our efforts feel worthwhile! I've really enjoyed our contact (on the phone and by email) and I think Madge is one lucky tortoise to have found a home with you! Please don't hesitate to contact us at any time, and if you would like to, I'm sure people would love to see the absolutely stunning outdoor enclosure you've built for Madge. We have a section on this Forum called enclosures, and if you post it there I think it would be an inspiration to people who are looking for ideas.

Cheers,
Nina
