Plant Id

Use this forum for identification of plants and flowers found in the UK. To allow us to help provide accurate identification we need clear pictures of the whole plant, where it is growing and close up pictures of flowers, buds or seed heads if any available. It would also be useful to see pictures showing the leaf attached to the stem.

This is growing in a coastal location in Ireland. Lots of it growing but I can't pinpoint which plant it is. Any help identifying it would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Hi TP,

Not completely sure -- I'll ask Lin to have a look.

Hi TP
I am wondering if it’s plain old ‘English /Lawn daisy.
If you can’t be sure by checking it out with our photos (especially the one below)then just wail a little while until they grow a little more and come back to us with another photo.

Have you ever seen any flowers on it?

Well I haven't noticed flowers on it but I didn't really pay it any attention until we started hunting around for wild plants for the tortoise! I'll update again when it's grown a bit. Thanks for the replies!
