Hi there
We are trying to grow our own weeds - ordered a seed packet for Russian torts online, and these have grown. They are a little spikey so just want to double check before feeding them to our three buddies...

Hiya.
The leaves that are green with a white pattern are Milk Thistle and fine in moderation. At that young the spikes will be very soft but as they grow larger they will become spikier. Some say to snip the spikes off but in my opinion, unless you have a hatchling tortoises in the wild have nobody around to remove any spikes from any plants.
