REHOMED - 2 male Hermanni- Itchen, Southampton

Post by lin » 05 Jan 2023, 23:28

.
Both these tortoises are hibernating right now and the owner will make arrangements for when collection could be. Please read to end for further details.
We have 2 male Hermanni tortoises for rehoming. Both of these tortoises were taken out of a bad situation, rehabilitated and are now are looking for their ‘separate’ forever homes. They will need collecting from Itchen, Southampton when they wake from hibernation.
There is 12 year old Khalid who suffered a prolapse that resulted in a penile amputation back in early 2021 and has suffered no problems since then. He enjoys a wild tortoise diet including Thistle, Plantain, Cats Ear and the occasional Dandelion to name but a few.
Next comes Kame (bet you didn’t know that name was Japanese for tortoise). He is 10 years old and lives a similar day to day life as Khalid, sleep, eat, walk and cause mischief, as they do. Kame also had a fresh weed diet and loves to be in the garden during the non sleeping months.
Both have a heated tortoise house in the garden for when they are not hibernating and they love climbing, eating and getting up to all sort of tortoise things as tortoises do.
If you feel you could offer either of these dear tortoises a new home where you can live a tortoise life of luxury then please do contact the owner stating what you have to offer both inside and out with photos to ——————————- with the subject Rehoming, and then the tortoise you would like and you will be contacted.
Good luck to you and these lovely tortoises.

Please be aware that The Tortoise Table do not allow any money to change hands during the rehoming process.
