REHOMED - 2 Hermanni JJ & Pickles. Rochdale

Post by lin » 01 Jun 2022, 19:59

.We have just had these two beautifully grown Hermanni tortoises from Shawforth, Rochdale sent in for rehoming. Both female, Pickles (the bigger of the two and believed to be T.h.b. is around 10 years) and JJ (the smallest, around 8 years and believed to be T.h.h.). As always, having to make the decision to rehome, for whatever reason is heartbreaking and is only ever done to better the tortoises life.
Although these have lived together for 8 years and always got along, the owner will rehome together or seperate, it is also felt that Pickles will now be better off with secure outside accommodation.
They are both good eaters and follow a strict tortoise safe diet of weeds and flowers.
If you have Hermanni yourself then quarantine procedure will need to be followed before introduction.
Is you have something good to offer these two beauties then using ‘Pickles and JJ Rehome’ as the subject line send to —————————-. letting them know what you can offer, diet you feed and if you have other tortoises some photos of them too. Also indoor and outdoor accommodation.
Good luck to all that apply and to these two lovely tortoises.
