REHOMED Cuarenta - Northants

Cuarenta is a Mediterranean Spur thighed tortoise 24 years old. We have had her since a hatchling but unfortunately we are moving house and the new home will no longer be suitable to keep her. We are also getting on in age and she is definitely going to outlive us.
Currently she is hibernating in the fridge but once out of hibernation she lives in a greenhouse attached to an outdoor covered pen. She also has the run of the garden on sunny days.
She loves her dandelions and plantain and can be entertaining coming over for her food. She is happy to have her head scratched and is quite a character.
We have assumed she is female but she has never been with other tortoises so we are not 100% sure.
Cuarenta has been with us for so long she is part of the family but we have no children to inherit her. We would love her to go to a caring home so she can continue to enjoy a happy and healthy life.
