New tortoise owner

Post your pictures and any questions here of European tortoises e.g. Ibera Spur Thigh, Ibera Graeca, Marginated, Hermanns, Kleinmanni and we include the Horsfield tortoise. Also, do add pictures of Mediterranean tortoises you have seen in the wild.

Hey Hedgehog and welcome to you and your tortoises.
It’s great you have new babies to care for. We would love to see photos if you have any handy.
I love the names, do you know what species they are, if you don’t you can send the photos and we will identify them.
We are for all your tortoise questions, dietary, health and plant identification and of course advise on housing, heating and mostly everything you might need help with.
We also have a list of vets that show an interest in tortoises. Have a browse around the website, we also have a Facebook page and remember if you need anything just give us a shout.

Thank you for the welcome Lin.
They are Mediterranean tortoises- my cousin hatched them.
I tried to upload a photo but the website said it was too big to upload.

Hi Hedgehog, and welcome from me too,

It looks like your photo isn't coming through. That might be because it's too large in size. if you'd like to femail it to me at nina@thetortoisetable.org.uk I'll reduce it in size and post it on your thread here.
Looking forward to seeing photos of Tufty and Zippy!
Cheers,
Nina
