Overnight temps

My wife and I have a one year old Dalamatian Hermann's Tortoise. I recently I stalled a new house thermostat and set it incorrectly. I just realized for the past 1-2 weeks, the temperature on the living room where we keep the enclosure has been dropping to 16C/61F for a couple of hours in the early morning. I fixed it last night so it won't go below 18C. I am concerned I may have maybe triggered him to prepare for hibernation, which he is not equipped for and won't survive. I hope I fixed it in time. Should I be worried?

No, I wouldn’t worry at 16*c it will be fine. 10 or less then I would worry.
As long as he is still waking up and seeking heat and basking and eating it’s all god. If he isn’t seeking basking temps and eating then make sure you get him up a few times a day and place him near the heat and uvb until he gets the hang of it again.
