That looks brilliant!! What a good designer of enclosures you are! There are lots of nice little areas to walk around and over to explore -- it's super. I can't quite tell how high the walls are, but just be sure that if he stands upright on his hind legs he can't get his claws over the top, because he will pull himself up (I was thinking of that long piece of wood that forms one part of the wall in the far part -- it's next to the large stone standing on edge, but I can't tell from the photo how tall it is), and where that meets the log roll from the main part of the enclosure. And also that there aren't any plants next to walls that he could use as a ladder to escape.

Titus certainly looks very, very happy in his new paradise, and my Doris and Dolly are envious and have started to nag me to improve their outdoor enclosure! I really do love the enclosures you've made, and do send more if you have time.

A few more plants gone in today. I've cut the bottom out of the plant to help raise them a bit. See if that stops him eating them to the ground!! We'll see!
I keep the top covered, one to stop him escaping, 2 to stop our little ginger cat batting him about!!

Lol - that’s a saucy cat. I love red cats.

If you’re looking at a way to protect newly planted small plants try upturning a hanging basket and securing it over the top of said plant. That way tortoise can only eat what he can reach to how far his head can get to.

It’s an amazing enclosure, well done.

Thanks Lin. I might need to resort to the upside down hanging basket!!
It's amazing how much he has changed from being outside on sunny days. He has a little spring in his step. Dozing a lot less, spending all day exploring... And eating! Need to keep an eye on that. He put on 1kg in a month which is good, so don't want him going off track and turning into a fatty!!!

Hi Steve,
Thanks so much for the photo of the finished enclosure -- it's brilliant! Lots of interest, space, things to walk around, over, etc. -- a little paradise for him! You've done great job, both indoors and out. Lol, in your response to Lin (see below) you said that 'he put on one kg in a month', which I truly hope is a typing error and that you actually meant 1g :D

Re your latest photo -- you might have to be more concerned for the cat then for the tortoise -- watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU9dY_4Adso

Oops, yep, definitely typo!! He'd have his own room if he was growing that quick! Haha
