Hello Lin No there is no swelling at all. Oh that is a relief! He does get the stems and i don't just pick the young leaves, he gets some old tougher ones too. Thanks Nina, i was going to ask about the bulb! I should have kept boxes etc so i knew what i had bought before! ( i blame the menopause lol) No the bulb was the right wattage for the holder.

Hi Lin Thanks for your reply. I took them out as it is hard to take pic when the bed is so crowded! There is so much of this in the bed and as i say its grown in the pots i test planted inside. Hi Ladies Here is the flower that was in bud in the first photo i showed you before. If its a no feed i'm a bit concerned as it appears to be a seed from at tortoise friendly seed packet. Have grown some of the seeds in a pot of top soil and they have grown in that too from the same packet of seeds....
