Although there are some reports of a low level of toxicity of this plant because of the presence of some alkaloids, we feel it would be acceptable to feed it to your tortoise in moderation and as part of a wider, more varied diet. 

The small flowers of the Aluminium Plant are usually white, although some varieties produce light green flowers. 

The Aluminium Plant is usually grown as a House Plant in the UK.
