Bluebell (English Bluebell, Spanish Bluebell)

 Do not Feed
  • Common Name: Bluebell (English Bluebell, Spanish Bluebell)
  • Latin Name: Hyacinthoides non-scripta/Hyacinthoides hispanica
  • Family Name: Hyacinthaceae

The glycosides found in Bluebells are thought to be similar to those in Digitalis (Foxglove), causing symptoms from shallow breathing to slowed heart rate and lethargy; so avoid your tortoise ingesting this plant.

Mainly blue or blue/purple flowers but there are white and pink varieties too.  See Hyacinth.
