Boy or girl?

Post by IAmGroot » 09 Jul 2019, 16:13

Looking at all the identifiers everything points to a boy except the ‘V’ in the shell so now I'm confused :?:

Tortoises are not easy to sex unless they flash or are in the older category where we can be 100%. But this one does look like a young male to me right now, but there is room to change -

Hmm. At 1 no vet would be able to even guess what sex a tortoise was, it would have to have been hatched at specific temps for male or female hatchlings and even that is not guaranteed. Best to wait and make sure, as I said even mine is a guess and there is still time for change -
