HiAll,
I just wanted to share a few photos of Baby Jesse! Hatched 18.10.18 , weighing 13g. I've waited so long for this moment! The other eggs from the same batch don't look viable when candled, so she is a real survivor. Mama Bessie and Dad Clem did a great job!

My dream come true!
Re: My dream come true!
Oh Dee, this has made my day (my year, actually)! What wonderful news, and thank you so much for letting us know and sending those gorgeous photos! How exciting is this! Don't throw those other eggs away -- the number of times I've heard people say that 'the other eggs don't look viable' and then a couple of weeks later they hatch -- so hold on for a while.
Well, I think this might be a good reason for me to make a trip into the wilds of Buckinghamshire at some point and see this little treasure in the flesh.
And you are a proper breeder now -- well done and many congratulations.

Ah thank you Nina! I am over the moon!
Please come and see us; I don't work on Fridays now so if you have a free Friday it would be great to see you!
I have kept the other eggs in the incubator...that would be amazing, but very unlikely.
I feel so blessed x

Oh wow, Dee. This little one looks so strong, must be a girl - lol. Well done and I agree with Nina. Don't dispose of the other eggs, I know some that have hatched around two months apart. I can also remember one story of where someone threw the egg only to find a hatchling in the bin later in the day.
Thanks for sharing this great news and photos.

Re: My dream come true!
Thank you so much, Lin. I think she's a survivor, strong and curious. I am setting her up out of the incubator tomorrow. She's eating and drinking, which is great to see.
Half term too, so I get to adore her all week.
