Help please

Use this forum for identification of plants and flowers found in the UK. To allow us to help provide accurate identification we need clear pictures of the whole plant, where it is growing and close up pictures of flowers, buds or seed heads if any available. It would also be useful to see pictures showing the leaf attached to the stem.

Post by Squirty » 01 May 2017, 16:06

Hi.
My first post. Please can anyone id this plant and is it a safe feed? :D
Sorry photo quality is not very good.(i only took one photo) (Photo gets rotated by 90 deg when loaded?) Taken next to a footpath. The plant was about 40cm tall. Couldn't see the bottom of the plant.

Do you think it might be Garlic Mustard? Type the name into the search bar on the database menu and have a look at our entry in the database and see what you think.

Hi martin and welcome.
I agree with Helen. Garlic Mustard and it should have a smell of garlic when crushed. Its fine in moderation but as Helen said, check it out on the website.

Hi Lin and Helen

Many thanks for your id. I've had a look at Garlic Mustard on the database and yes I'm sure you're correct! :D
So Squirty has another plant he can have occasionally.
