Hi I m struggling to identify these weeds and not sure how clear the pics will be.
1st pic is a creeping plant and has white flowers on it
2nd pic has a low base of leaves but a really tall stem with a cluster of white flowers at the top and there's a few other tall stems coming out from the base at an angle which also look to have flower heads forming
3rd pic I really though it was Herb Robert but the flowers are wrong
Thanks

Hi Teddy.
You have Fumitory, no feed -- https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/pla ... nt=432&c=6

Chickweed - Moderate feed - https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/pla ... ant=86&c=6

And the last one, with the small leaves and long spike with what looks like white flowers...can you send in another photo with a clear closer shot of the leaves and flowers please.

Thanks for the 2 ids Lin, fumitory is a new one to me.
Not sure these pics are much better, I had to take the flower stalk off otherwise I just couldn't get a focus

Ah, its Thale Cress (Arabidopsis thaliana) and as a brassica it would be ok in moderation and added to a varied diet.

Thanks Lin, so many new weeds are popping up in the garden, never seen thale cress or fumitory before.
Best wishes

Your welcome Teddy and Boris.
Its interesting when you have a new area to explore for new findings. I's quite exciting.

Certainly is. There are so many new weeds popping up but although I'm learning their identities I won't be feeding any of the safe ones. They are on a piece of land treated with weedkiller last June so I'm not taking any chances. We've gone chemic free now, it didn't work anyway
Thanks again Lin

I should imagine a winters worth of rain would render the June application of weed killer useless by now.

Oh do you think so? I just didn't want to take any chances but we've certainly had a lot of rain since then haven't we
