Plant I.d please

Use this forum for identification of plants and flowers found in the UK. To allow us to help provide accurate identification we need clear pictures of the whole plant, where it is growing and close up pictures of flowers, buds or seed heads if any available. It would also be useful to see pictures showing the leaf attached to the stem.

Hi guys

This has come up over winter, I have a large area covered and it wasn’t there last year!!
Any ideas? I have looked at the database but can’t see it.

That looks like Lords and Ladies to me, and it is toxic. Have a look at our entry -- most of the photos show all green leaves, but you can see some that are variegated like yours in it.

Thank you, I did think lords & ladies but wasn’t sure. Will get clearing the area tomorrow.
