I'm not quite sure what the first photo is (looks familiar but my mind has gone blank!), but I'm sure that Lin will know what it is and will come on later with an ID.
The second photo (plant with pointy leaves) looks like one of the Willowherbs -- we have two entries:
https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/pla ... NrpCKR7m9s
and
https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/pla ... NrpgqR7m9s
but the same feeding advice for both (feed in moderation).
Sorry I couldn't do both, but I'll contact Lin and ask her to have a look.

Hi Jo,

Well, Lin has come up trumps on this one (lol, as I thought she would). The plant in your second photo is Alexanders, and here is our entry for it: https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/pla ... Nsj4qR7m9s It was a difficult one because the leaves on your plant don't look exactly like the leaves in the photos of our entry, but that is because your plant is at a different stage of growth (it's younger), and the leaves change shape a bit as the plant grows older. This is a common trait in plants, but it does make IDing hard sometimes, but Lin was able to identify characteristic notches in the leaves that are common to younger and older leaves, so that enabled the ID.

Anyway, the good news is that you've got two plants that are edible, so well done!
