Unfortunately last night a spammer posted a number of messages our Forum, and we apologise if you have read these messages before we had a chance to delete them. We have now deleted lthose messages and banned the sender, but if more messages are sent in today, please know that we are working to solve this problem and are so sorry that it has happened and will do our best to ensure that it doesn't occur again.

There back again! Must be so hard for you guys to keep them out

I know, and it's so infuriating! So far they have all been posted in the General Care forum. The post a message, we ban their username and delete the message and then a new message with a different username comes in. We've banned over 50 messages since 7.30 this morning. So sorry if this is bothering people, but we are trying really hard to stop the problem from happening again. The fact that they seem to be generating new usernames every couple of minutes is what is causing us headaches. And I can't quite see how to put all new posts to moderation before they go live on the forum.

Just a quick update. It seems more in control at the moment with much less spam coming in - so thanks to everyone for being patient while we're deaing with this.
