The Tortoise Table

My tortoise wants to eat this so bad.... but I can't find any information on whether it's safe or not.online I find a mix of reviews, some say edible to humans, others say no. Thank you Anyone?

Hi and thanks for contacting us. I've checked out Florida Pusley (Richardia scabra), and can't find any property in it that would indicate that it would be unsuitable for tortoises to eat. Also, I've found that this plant is much favored by Gopher tortoises in Georgia and elsewhere, so I think that is a good recommendation. http://coastalplainplants.org/wiki/inde ... dia_scabra

Thank you Nina... he loves it. I asked a plant expert and she said the same, gopher tortoise love it. Good to know, I feel comfortable allowing him to eat it. Tyvm again.
