Hello! Im kinda new here
I have 3 red foots (or yellow foots, im not too sure) and I live in Venezuela. Im trying to find more greens to add to my tortoises' diet and I noticed there's some Ruellia Tuberosa outside my house. I saw the entry on the Ruellia spp. but I just want to make sure since I've heard some Ruellia species can be toxic

And if they ARE safe to feed, should I give them the flowers or the leaves (or both)?
Thanks!

I can find no evidence of toxicity of the R. tuberosa so providing your plants havnt been treated with anything I would say both the flowers and leaves are fine.

Hope thats helpful and if there is anything else we can do then get back to us.

Alright thank you very much! I dont think the plants were treated with anything, they kind of grew on their own! lol
I'll feed some to my torts and see how they like them
