Hi Karim and many apologies for the late reply. For some reason the notification facility for this section of the forum was turned off and we never got notified of your post! The information on our website in general applies to tortoises and turtles, but only in general. For example, if we say that a plant is safe to feed then it is safe for tortoises and turtles, and if we say that it is not safe to feed then that would apply to all too. However, just because a plant is safe, does not mean that you should feed it in large amounts to your particular species of tortoises or turtle. For example, Sulcata and Leopard tortoises are primarily grass eaters. The plants that we say are safe to feed will not harm those species, the majority of the diet of those two species should be grass, and only about 30% of other plants. Species like Redfoot tortoises can also eat some fruit and some protein, but Mediterranean species should not have that. If you have any particular questions, just send them in and we will do our best to answer them.

Nina
