Sweep - Horsfield Male 4y - Leicester

Hi all, unfortunately one of our two horsfield tortoises has turned out to be a male and so we have to split them up. We don't have room to keep them separately and give them both the happy and safe lives they deserve.
Sweep is roughly 4 years 6 months old. He's very sociable and calm with people but as a male he's quite aggressive towards our female (Sooty, of course!) so he does need to live alone.
I would be happy to take Sweep to the new owner or for you to come and collect him - our other tortoise is very distressed when she isn't burrowed, so rehoming Sweep as soon as possible is in both of their interests and we would be willing to travel further if it means we can split them up sooner.
Sweep has been happy and healthy, never needed to visit a vet or caused us any concerns. He has lived mainly inside in a tortoise table but spends warmer summer days outside. Not yet hibernated (he doesn't show any interest). He has been fed on a diet of various tortoise-appropriate weeds and flowers with occasional calcium supplementation and specialist tortoise food in the winter.
Thanks in advance - I was really happy to find this site as it doesn't feel right to sell him, but I also want to make sure he goes to a safe home rather than giving him away to someone we don't know.
