REHOMED- Female Hermanni - Nottingham

Post by lin » 05 May 2022, 13:03

Rehoming is never an easy decision for any owner to make, but this one, for the owner, was made purely for Matilda's health and well-being. Matilda is a much loved family female Hermanni around 6 years of age. The owner feels she is not doing enough of the right things to make her tortoise happy. Although Matilda has seen tortoise vets, followed advise and tried many ‘tortoise friendly’ diets it seems she is a very picky eater and because of her refusal to eat a nutritional tortoise diet she wants a lovely home with someone who will take her on and persevere with her reluctance to eat. Apart from that she loves to be where the action is, loves to be around people and loves a chin tickle when she is awake but she also sleeps a lot of the time. I think what she really needs is someone to teach her to be a tortoise.
If you can help with Matilda's rehoming then let the owner know using Rehoming Matilda as the subject line to ———————- stating what you have to offer. Do you have a female Hermanni, will you follow quarantine guidelines before introduction? Can you send a photo or two of your set-ups, as that often helps with decisions.

Good luck to all who apply and especially to Matilda.
