HUGO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. His carer has decided to give him his forever home.
This is Hugo, his carer rescued two Horsfields a month ago to remove them from an unsavoury situation and worked on getting them to eat the correct diet and bringing their health up to scratch. As you can see Hugo has a degree of shell deformity through no fault of his own and the carer now feels it is time for him to go to his forever home. Could that be your house? Hugo would love to go to a home where the owner has experience in caring for tortoises and if you live within 40 miles then it may be possible for Hugo to be delivered to you.
He needs a nice big indoor setup and outside secure area where he can while away the hours under the sun without being bullied, as he was, by his much smaller brother.
He is such a pleasant chap, friendly and intrigued by things around him In his carer’s own words — “He's honestly a real gentleman, so placid and kind”.
So let's see what we can do for the lovely Hugo.
Tortoise Groups and individuals may use this section to advertise tortoises in need of rehoming.
