Hebe Magic Varieties

Post by laurat » 19 Apr 2022, 11:42

Hey all!

Hope your all well and enjoying this gorgeous sunshine!

I have a quick question … bought some Hebe Magic Colour varieties and was wondering if this would be ok for Vera to eat (Hermann).

https://nurserymen.co.uk/hebe-magic-var ... llbinding/

I noticed on the database Hebe’s are ok for them to eat but was wondering about these varieties.

Many thanks

Hi Laura,

As far as I know, all Hebes are edible, so it should be fine. Happy munching!

The hebes went down a treat. As did some leaves from the olive tree and some carex sedge grass! 👍🏻

It sounds like Vera is having a very posh May Day brunch!

Sorry for the Kate response.

That’s one way to put it Nina ha ha haaaaaaa.

We’ve finally ‘finally’ got round to having a ‘proper’ garden and we’ve made sure we have stuff growing for Vera so he’s been enjoying hebe, olive tree, grasses, different herbs and various flowers.

He’s spoilt that’s what he is! ;)

That's great to hear! My two have been enjoying sunshine, and especially munching on their favourites -- Campanula and Evening Primrose, which is in full bloom now and they love.

These pets get better fed than me but hey they’re all worth it!
