Busy in the sunshine

With the beautiful spring weather this weekend miss paula and I got busy with the Horsfield set-up.
15 bags of new top soil,truck full of stones,Hebes and various safe plants...cold beer and all day to mess around.

This set- up was built a few years back to house two Horsfield males,bubba and Memphis..split into two as they are very very aggressive towards each other,built using scaffolding boards ,sealed with marine varnish..very very heavy and almost impossible to bust into,I'll get pics up of the steel security grills that sit on top of this one,I didn't want any one or thing getting at my Tortoise's

I hope everyone is reading this post, Joe, because your enclosures are wonderful -- a model for anyone thinking of making an outdoor enclosure. They are so full of interest for the tortoises, and so natural looking at the same time. I just love them and you could give a masterclass in outdoor tortoise landscapes!
