The Tortoise Table

Well, I think it looks great. The fact that it was a pond explains why there is a lot of gravel in it -- is that for drainage? I once built a tortoise enclosure on top of a concrete patio -- just made walls of bricks and dumped loads of soil it it and made a little hill in the middle. One day we had a tremendous downpour and I went out to get Doris and found her perched on the one tiny bit of land left -- it had been the top of the little hill -- and all around her was a lake because it couldn't drain out fast enough. That was scary.
