Hi, this is Tiny's table, I will replace the wood chip asap... I have an over hanging heat 50w lamp and a small uv (will get a strip too & cuttlefish etc) :geek:

I could not of done it without your help, just glad I'm on the right path now :)

I also hope it helps others who are starting out or, like I was, struggling to meet their needs.

Hi Bex,

I really like the fact that you've given Tiny different textures to walk over, with the soil area and the gravel area! I think you've done a great job and the way you've set up that table will provide Tiny with interest and good exercise.
Just out of curiosity, what temps are you able to get underneath your 50W bulb? I find I have to use a higher wattage to get the ideal 30C directly underneath the bulb, but then I don't have my central heating on during the day, so my rooms are fairly cold.

I have an adjustable lamp stand so I start it approx 6 inches from the floor of the table and as it warms up I move it further up as not to overheat him. Have found him extremely hot a cpl times so it's trial & error really, the box is an old corn snake viv which I took the lid off. I've had to take out the wooden arch as I found him sitting on top of it last night! He's a determined little *** I have replaced it with a flatter cave and he's sound asleep inside that atm.
Am I right that med spur thighed hibernate? problem is I am not 100% sure what he is, his 'paperwork' states he is but it also says he was born June 2015 which the pet shop said must of been a typo!

If you send in some pics (larger size) Bex, I can pass them round to the team and let you know what species it is if we know. The photos need to be of the plastron, including legs and feet. The side view, the top view, one from the back looking un and under the shell at the meat between the tail and legs and one from the front looking into the shell at the head.
