Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here, I hope everyone is keeping well and staying safe in these crazy times. I thought I would pop on and let you have a peek at Vera’s new tortoise table (I’ve added the photos as separate posts as it wouldn’t allow me to add them all to this one). ...

So, theres a power cut and they predict 5hrs. I'm guessing Vera will be ok for this length of time? I've popped a hot water bottle in his bedroom. I am keeping a check on his temps and they seem to have stabilised at 22 degrees. I am guessing it's best to wait until the power is back on for his dinn...

This is 'Tortoise Towers', and yes I think he does have a better home than me lol!!!

He is absolutely loving it. Think he spends the majority of his day in his bath, oops sorry, ensuite ha!

Everything 'was' in its place. He's trashed the stones lol!

Yeah we will be switching him to playsand and to soil.

There's a bearded dragon in the viv and the empty space to the left of it is where our house rabbits cage lives. We've also got a puppy ... full on menagerie I tell you.

Well, the wait is over, Vera's tortoise table has been extended and as my friends say 'hes got a mansion, not an extension!'

Good news to report ... Vivacious Vera is staying, yeahhhhh!!!!

So, now that's set in stone, we can get on with our new project that's been in the pipeline for him, which is extending his tortoise table to 6ft. Watch this space for photos ...

Yes I know about the money situation. I wouldn't be looking for money. As long as (if it came to it) Vera went to a good loving home, that's all that would matter to me.

I did drop the bulb down to increase the temps a little as advised by the vet.
