Hello again, We wouldn’t mind at all if he turned out to be female. I’d love our tort to have company of his own kind although I know in the wild they are solitary. We are able to separate torts if he does turn out to be female and if our male pesters ‘her’ too much we can separate temporarily or as...

Hi Lin, we’d love to take him and give him a good home. We already have one healthy Hermanns tort (male, currently in the fridge) who is 8 years old. It would be nice for him to have a companion! We live near Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
