Thank you for taking the time to view this page. 

We have worked very hard over the last two years to make this a useful free reference website for tortoise keepers, and we firmly believe that the work we are doing will improve the quality of lives of tortoises.  However, the growing success of our site has brought with it the need to raise more funds to meet escalating annual costs (our increasingly large database containing thousands of photographs, and the vastly increased traffic to our site means we now must purchase additional bandwidth, and this is more than double what we currently pay).

The cost of running of The Tortoise Table website is funded by a group of 6 volunteers and we also rely on the generosity of other fellow tortoise keepers.  The donations go towards the cost of our server, bandwidth, maintenance and development of the website.

Please consider donating whatever amount you can afford to help sustain The Tortoise Table.

We welcome one-off donations, but you can also set up a standing order of £1, £2, £5 a month to help us with our running costs.

If you are interested in helping the Tortoise Table in any way -- which might include fundraising, writing articles, taking good photographs, or helping with plant identification -- then we want to hear from you.
