Although most research indicates that Centaury is not toxic, there are some reports that eating large quantities can cause nausea or mild gastric problems in humans, and as it hasn't been tested in the tortoise diet we feel it best to err on the side of caution and recommend feeding only small quantities and as part of a wider, more varied diet.
