Canna Lily (Canna, Indian Shot)

The Canna is not actually a member of the Lily family, but it does have the ability to soak up nitrogen and other pollutants, and is often planted in wetland areas to extract pollutants, as it has a high tolerance to contaminants.  It also has an extremely high starch content, which is not good for the tortoise's digestive system, so the Canna is not a desirable plant for the tortoise diet.
