Winter Aconite

 Do not Feed
  • Common Name: Winter Aconite
  • Latin Name: Eranthis spp.
  • Family Name: Ranunculaceae
All parts of this plant are toxic if ingested and although the bitter taste would probably deter a tortoise from eating it, it would be best not planted anywhere near the enclosure.

Although we have classified this plant as a wild flower, it can also be seen cultivated in gardens.

Do not confuse with Aconite.
