Mossy Saxifrage (Stone Breaker, Stonebreaker)

• Latin Name: Saxifraga (Section Saxifraga); esp. Saxifraga hypnoides; S. x arendsii; S.moschata
• Family Name: Saxifragaceae

This lovely plant, which is often found flowering on rockeries in early spring, can be added to the tortoise diet or to the enclosure without any harm.  If you are growing it inside your tortoise enclosure, however, steps should be taken to restrict access or the plant will be eaten to the ground.
