Daisy (English Daisy)

 Do not Feed
  • Common Name: Daisy (English Daisy)
  • Latin Name: Bellis perennis
  • Family Name: Asteraceae/Compositae

This cultivar of the Common or Lawn Daisy is often used in ornamental garden displays.  It contains saponins and tannins and therefore should not be offered as part of a tortoise diet, although it won't harm if the tortoise takes a nibble.

It is also found as a weed in lawns and growing in the wild.
