Tradescantia is a relatively safe plant to offer your tortoise, but as some sources say it could be fairly high in oxalate crystals, we advise that you only feed it in moderation. Most plants of this genus have a purple flower, but there are white and pink varieties.
It is usually grown in gardens but can also be found growing in the wild.
